My epicly long Gryffindor scarf.  I spent a year knitting this on and off.  It’s over 9 feet long with the tassles.  Knit on the round with size 9 round needles.  I coerced my friend into modeling it as well as the following for me.

It was bitter cold one weekend at my school, and I realized I didn’t own a hat, so I sat down and knit this over the weekend.  I used the following pattern.

I’m an avid reader, and will be graduating with my bachelor’s degree this May, having majored in English.  I read mostly fantasy, interspersed with some classics, some standard fiction, and a bit of nonfiction.  I particularly love British literature; Austen, Rowling, Clarke, Tolkein, just to name a few.

I have been knitting for almost three years now, having learned my sophomore year of college.  I’m constantly trying new and challenging patterns.

I’m constantly yearning for more time in the day to knit and read.
